About Laverda Corse

Laverda Corse was formed in 2001 by Piero Laverda with the aim of preserving and promoting the racing heritage of Moto Laverda. The team is an informal association of ex-works riders, mechanics, enthusiasts and collectors with a particular passion for the company’s racing history and competition  machinery . The team are dedicated to the preservation of the remaining works bikes and Piero Laverda’s intention is that these rare and exotic machines are aired in public as often as possible to give Laverda enthusiasts the opportunity to see and hear them in all their glory.

About 1In addition to demonstrating the bikes at the growing number of classic events which now take place throughout Europe and the rest of the world, the team also participate in classic endurance racing using specially developed replicas of the 1000cc spaceframe  endurance racer and the 500cc ‘Barcelona’ twin cylinder machines.  As a result of this racing experience the team is able to offer kits for sale which include all the special parts required to build a replica works racer using a suitable donor bike.
As well as competing in the UEM Vintage Endurance Cup the team also appear at major meetings in the classic bike calendar and encourage all Laverda enthusiasts to come and join us at these events. Details of the team’s appearances are provided in the events listings.
